Engines work like Photoshop tools: you use one for a while, switch to another when needed, and keep alternating until the result feels right. One engine might help you sketch rhythm, another can shape pitch or variation, and changing between them is what lets the sequence grow with intention.

Aline has a unique approach to let each independent sequencer modulate another. A layer can create a base sequnce, another could define the velocities, or transpose it. Make them have different lengths for evolving complexity.
